The hotel was an interesting place for enjoying a beautiful area, really close to eateries like a pub. We appreciated the cottage which was exceptionally clean with a view across the yard to farm buildings.

A cozy stay near Hadrian's Wall
The location is serene, away from the hustle. The cozy room was clean, and we enjoyed a great hot shower. Breakfast was a treat with fresh bread and made-to-order eggs. There's a picnic area, though the room was a bit small for two. Elizabeth was super friendly and helpful .

Self-catering facilities in the cottage, lovely views of the countryside, unique interaction with animals
The remote location makes accessing amenities a hassle!!! Poor sound insulation between rooms disrupts peace, while challenges with Wi-Fi connectivity can be frustrating during peak times. More comprehensive bathroom amenities would elevate the experience!!!

Rye Hill Farm offers a charming atmosphere with lovely views of the countryside. The host, Elizabeth, was especially warm and accommodating. The gardens are beautifully kept and peaceful.
A ground-floor room would have been ideal.

The family room was super cozy and had beautifull views over the farm. Elizabeth was so cute n helpful, even showed my kids where all the toys were. Breakfast was delish, really set us up for the day.
The only downside was we wish we could have stayed longer! It was a bit tricky to find the place at first.

Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed the fine countryside views from my room. Elizabeth, the hostess, was warm and cute. Note that local dining options were limited. Consider planning meals ahead. Remember, they offer appetizing sandwiches for just £2, which would have been helpful after a long day exploring.
